After residency, instructorship and a term as assistant professor at University of Chicago Department of Medicine, Dr Chaudry moved east, serving as assistant professor of medicine at University of Connecticut. She has extensive experience in clinical trials, serving as Director of Science for a multi-center, R01 funded trial examining remote symptom monitoring for patients recently hospitalized for heart failure. She successfully obtained a K23/Beeson Career Development Award, as well as pilot funding from the Yale Pepper Center, to conduct an observational study of geriatric impairments in patients hospitalized with decompensated heart failure. She is also conducting analyses using several large data sets, including the Cardiovascular Health Study and the Health, Aging, and Body Composition Study.
